Utah Admin. Code R156-55a-301ae includes fences, guardrails, handrails, barriers, pergolas, patios and decking, including the deck structure and substructure, in the scope of the S330 Landscape and Recreation Contractor license. It also covers retaining walls, with limits for walls holding back vehicles, structures or fill. (source: Utah Office of Administrative Rules)
The S330 license excludes electrical trade work beyond minor wiring extended no more than 10 feet from an existing outlet at no more than 120 volts and 20 amps. Deck lighting or new circuits beyond that need a licensed electrical contractor. (source: Utah Office of Administrative Rules)
Concrete flatwork, forms and reinforcing bars are in the scope of the S260 Asphalt and Concrete Contractor license under R156-55a-301x. (source: Utah Office of Administrative Rules)
