Questions to ask before you buy a used appliance
- What does the warranty cover, for how long, and is it in writing?
- Was the unit tested or serviced before sale, and by whom?
- Where did the unit come from (trade in, retailer return, scratch and dent)?
- What does delivery cost, and will you take the old one away?
- What is the model number, so I can check it for a recall?
